Living in a place that includes lava rock formations, white-capped mountains, and some of the most amazing and otherworldly views; it’s easy to forget it gets cold here. And, for those living in this small village, I think they’ve become experts in cold management.
This photo was taken with a wide-angle lens and a tripod while I drove along the countryside looking for spots to photograph. I found the warm blue tops of these houses were a wonderful contrast to the cold feeling of everything else. I invite you to see this image at full resolution.
