The Big Blog Spring Cleaning
Starting yesterday, I have embarked on a process of cleaning up most of the 540 posts I’ve done here on the blog. This process aims to fix a number of messy things left after a large migration from Google’s Blogger. I ask for your patience in this painful and manual process.
Update: More than halfway done. This is looking bigger than I expected. Many posts have dead links and other things that need cleaning.
Update #2: Finished the majority of articles. I’m feeling cleaner all over.
Some of the stuff I’m going to be cleaning up include the following:
1. Older, manual advertising display codes that don’t fit in any longer. This is raw code that has to be removed
2. Re-linking bit.ly links to the full site URLs, removing or noting bad or broken links (whenever possible)
3. Correcting text formatting issues (based on superfluous code added by Blogger)
4. Correcting any incorrectly sized or dead images
5. Updating posts when feasible
To this end, it’s going to take a little while to get through all of this. So, if there is something you’d like to see changed or updated on the blog, please do let me know in the comments and I can add or remove it. As always, I thank you all for reading.
