I found a bunch of entirely useless facts I thought you might find cool.
Capital One, however, has done something even MORE worthy of our disgust for credit card companies. Recently, my sister was called and pitched about a credit card and she thought it was reasonable enough, so she applied over the phone for the card.
I have not physically seen one, and I don’t know anyone that has one – but its becoming apparent to me that the iPhone is the looming holy grail of phone convergence.
In my line of work, I often have to be in touch with other technical people, and being someone who is considered technical myself (most people think so.. haha), I tend to deal with that sort of smarmy attitude often.
While watching a recent episode of Jon Stewart – Jon was interviewing Jerry Seinfeld. The interview wasn’t a question-answer type process, it was more of a free flowing conversation.. one thing Jerry says is how unattractive the word “blog” is. I wondered what that word meant.
Honesty, let’s talk about this for a moment. These last few days have been interesting in this regard for me. I’m not a perfect beacon of honesty for sure – I do try, however, to be as honest as I can in situations.
I have never heard of Asa (pronounced Asha) before today, but I frequent a website called Aurgasm.com where they offer songs from bands that are obscure and have not been heard of. Asa is an R&B singer that almost seems a little bit like she could sing Reggae. The lyrics are awesome, the sound is great. Check it out here.
In a move that I think is going to be analyzed to death over the next little while – Jon Stewart’s Comedy Central show is now completely online at thedailyshow.com. This is without a doubt the best example of a company “getting it” with regards to new media. The online database of clips (said to number in the range of 13,000) is fully indexed and streams very reliably.
I just checked out a trailer for a new movie called “Untraceable”. The movie follows a CyberCrime investigator as she tries to solve a case based on an untraceable website.
